Introducing Kimberly Marie...

Kimberly Marie was born September 21st.
We first heard about her on September 30th.
She joined our family on October 5th.

Kimbie is our fifth adopted child, but this is so different.  Having birthdad hand me his child just seems to add so much to the responsibility.  He and her birthmom were personally choosing to entrust us with the care of raising their daughter, and asking us to promise to love her as much as they do.  Don't judge them, ever.

Honestly, I can't remember now.  Did I take her from him, or did he hand her over to me?  It was over so quickly there at the end, and suddenly we were walking away with a new daughter.

Nine kids?!

We now have nine children!

And sadly, we will not be going to Estonia.

I will tell the sad, beautiful, miraculous story of the past few days, after I get some sleep!
